Technology
The module utilizes PAM4 (Pulse Amplitude Modulation 4-level) technology for high-speed data transmission across four parallel optical channels. It is compliant with IEEE 802.3db/D3.0 and IEEE 802.3ck standards, ensuring interoperability and performance in demanding environments.
Working Principle
The transceiver converts electrical signals into optical signals using VCSEL-based transmitters. Each of the four lanes operates at 53.125 GBaud, transmitting PAM4 modulated light over multimode fiber. On the receiver side, the optical signals are converted back to electrical data with integrated amplification and clock recovery.
